After School Ministry |

Purpose: To minister to children attending kindergarten through the sixth grade and their parents by providing a safe environment where the children learn the fundamentals of Biblical truths in order to bring them to a saving knowledge of Christ our Lord.

During Bible Study/Story time the children are taught as a group. The older children help the younger children find things in the Bible and help them read when they are chosen to do so. The children are taught to listen to the story and they sing a song that usually goes with our lesson. They are taught to pray in groups, individually and by themselves. We have quiet time for pray after the story. Each day's craft or activity is designed to reinforce that day's Bible story.
All of the children learn books of the Bible and Bible verses. During homework time, the children are given individual help as needed. Free time activities are crafts, music, basketball and many games. The children are often given Mission projects to achieve. The After School Ministry meets Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
We are open when South Rock Creek School is open and closed when they are closed. There is a $30.00 per week fee per child.
