1 Peter 4:10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms.
The purpose of the Women's Ministry at Rock Creek Baptist Church is to bring women of all ages together for fellowship and growth, to widen our circle of friendships among women within the church family, spend purposeful time with women outside the family of God and to serve God by using our gifts for the benefit of others.
As our mission focus, we support Grace Home, a residential maternity home in Blanchard; Family Promise, an assistance program for the homeless in Shawnee; South Rock Creek School faculty, staff and students and various ministries and activities as needed within our church home.
The Women's Ministry typically meets the first Monday of each month in the Multipurpose Building for a meal and fellowship. We have a game night once every quarter and a craft night in the fall. Themes, activities and devotionals vary each month.
In addition, we meet for lunch twice a month. Date, time and place can be found on the church calendar of events.
The Annual "Ladies Night Out" at Immanuel Baptist Church will feature speaker Carrie Trotter. A $5 per person charge will include dessert. Tickets can be purchased at the Christian book store in the mall or there is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the church foyer and you can pay Diane Bradsher. Activities begin at 6:00.
