I was raised in a Christian home and I’m thankful for that!  Growing up in a church provided so many great experiences, the best being the day I accepted Jesus as my Savior and Lord.  Still life was not without challenges and my teenage years without rebellion.  It’s in those years I thought I knew better than God and started doing things my way, which led to my own destruction. Fast forward three years and I find myself in a failed marriage, and two children stuck in the middle.  My life was in shambles. Every plan I had for my life now laid out like confetti on the floor.  

MY PLANS.  For MY LIFE.  That’s when it hit me.  In Jeremiah God says, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, not harm you.  Plans to give you a future, and a hope.”  Right there and then, in the spare room of my single wide trailer, I hit the floor and repented. My life was now in His control.

Praise be to God, He made ways where there seemed to be no way, He opened doors and opened hearts.  I started attending a local church in South Dakota where I was living, and immediately was introduced to Tiffiany, who is now my lovely wife.  God began to use us in ministry in ways we never thought!  We served on the worship teams, in youth ministry, and in church planting.  We have served several churches over the years in several states as the US Air Force moved us around.  Our family has grown to six children, and currently five grandchildren!  God is Good!

God never disappoints.  Hear me on this: He never fails, His plans are the BEST plans.  We are excited to see what God has in store for us and Rock Creek Baptist Church as we continue to seek Him!
